WIRobotics is accelerating its Physical AI strategy by publishing a detailed simulation model of its ALLEX humanoid robot, the first step in a broader technology disclosure roadmap aimed at external researchers and developers. The company is positioning ALLEX’s virtual twin as core infrastructure for algorithm testing, control development, and synthetic data generation, allowing partners to validate use cases before physical units are commercially available.

The ALLEX model is tuned to minimize the Sim-to-Real gap by closely reproducing high backdrivability and force transparency, and is being distributed in MJCF for MuJoCo, USD for Isaac Sim, and URDF for ROS to support major robotics software stacks. WIRobotics plans to release additional core technologies from its humanoid program and to launch the ALLEX research platform later this year, leveraging its recent KRW 95 billion Series B funding and recognition from the NVIDIA–AWS Physical AI Fellowship to scale a global development ecosystem.

Founded in 2021 by former Samsung Electronics robotics engineers, WIRobotics has already commercialized wearable robots under the WIM series, earning CES Innovation Awards from 2024 through 2026 and expanding into Europe, Japan, and China, which provides a revenue base and market access for future humanoid offerings. Management views robust simulation as a critical enabler for faster deployment of ALLEX-based solutions in industrial and mobility settings, reducing integration risk for prospective enterprise customers.

A technical demo released on the company’s YouTube channel showcases consistency between ALLEX’s real-world behavior and its simulation, intended to build confidence among developers and potential partners in the fidelity of the platform. For executives and investors, the move signals WIRobotics’ intent to compete as a platform player in Physical AI rather than a pure hardware supplier, using open tooling to attract an ecosystem whose applications could drive demand for future ALLEX hardware and related services.
