WIRobotics releases ALLEX humanoid robot simulation model to build open Physical AI ecosystem

WIRobotics, a South Korean robotics company, has launched a technology disclosure roadmap to build a Physical AI development ecosystem. The company released the simulation model of its humanoid robot ALLEX, alongside Sim-to-Real validation results. The ALLEX simulation model minimises the gap between simulation and physical robot environments, accurately reproducing characteristics including high backdrivability and force transparency. It is available in MJCF, USD and URDF formats, enabling researchers to conduct control, learning and synthetic data generation research without physical hardware access. Founded in 2021, WIRobotics completed a Series B funding round of approximately KRW 95 billion in 2026. The company plans to sequentially release additional core technologies and make the ALLEX research platform available later this year, expanding its open development ecosystem for researchers and robotics developers.
